A lovely bright medium ruby and violet color in the glass, it starts off a bit reductive on the nose with aromas of matchstick and dusty country road. Additional notes of boysenberry, milk chocolate, candied violet petal, pine forest breeze, rhubarb, and freshly cut hay powerfully combine with perfect levels of acidity, a wonderfully balanced mouthfeel, and a flawless finish. Enjoy this one over the next 11-12 years. Highly recommended.
