SHEA WINE CELLARS Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Estate’ 2020

There is not a large Pinot Noir production coming out of the Willamette Valley in the 2020 vintage, but the Shea Estate 2020 is not only drinkable, it’s substantially good wine. Notes of marionberry, blue plum, baked cherry pie, cedary herbs, dried mint tobacco leaf, and cigar ash are present in the glass. Medium levels of acidity and a medium body complete the wine, but not a lot of tannin structure has developed. Drink now.
