BERGSTROM Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘La Spirale Vineyard’ 2020

The 2020 La Spirale Pinot Noir from Bergstrom is aged for about 9 months in neutral French oak and boasts notes of dried sour cherry, fresh red raspberry, scorched cedary herbs, lemongrass, and a hint of blood orange. Very much Burgundian in style, with a more earthy and lean focus. Sporting high acidity, crunchy tannin, and a medium body, it’s a wine that should be enjoyed now or over the next 3-4 years.
