KEN WRIGHT Pinot Noir, Yamhill Carlton ‘Shea Vineyard’ 2019

Fruit coming from the famed Shea Vineyard in the Yamhill Carlton AVA, this one is a treat in the glass with an intoxicating bouquet of black cherry, toasted peppercorn, Indian spices, pine forest, hoisin sauce, and wet autumn leaves notes. It’s big, bold, juicy, and rich on the palate, but that is all balanced out by the racy acidity and silky smooth tannin structure. Best in 2024 and over the next decade.
