KEN WRIGHT CELLARS Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Savoya Vineyard’ 2021

Showcasing a gorgeous light to medium ruby-cranberry core with a blueish rim, the 2021 Savoya by Ken Wright is a spicy and dusty effort that needs a bit of time in the glass to open up fully. Notes of spiced blue plum, dark raspberry, dried violet flower, dusty country road, and Earl Gray tea are all present. Lemony acidity, silky tannins, and a lengthy blue fruit and peppery finish complete the wine. Better in 2024.
