SOLÉNA Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Shea Vineyard’ 2021

The 2021 Shea Vineyard from Solena exhibits a glimmering light ruby core with a watery rim and begins with scrumptious layers of red raspberry, blue plum, watermelon, pencil shavings, crushed cranberry, lemony herbs, and blood orange aromas and flavors. I always love wines from the Shea vineyard, and this Pinot Noir is an outstanding example of wines from this famed vineyard. Wonderfully balanced with no rough edges, this wine is ready to drink now and will drink amazingly well for the next 8-10 years.
