DOMAINE DIVIO Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Shea Vineyard’ 2021

With fruit coming from one of my personal favorite vineyards in the Willamette Valley, the Shea Vineyard, this wine is a stunner. Displaying a stunning medium-ruby core with a silvery rim, the 2021 Shea from Domaine Divio is a fruit-forward-style of Pinot Noir that expresses notes of macerated strawberry, wild huckleberry, iodine, shaved pencil, Meyer lemon zest, and a touch of cedary herbs. Tannins are already integrated into the lemony acidity, while it finishes with a lovely bitter herb note on the back palate. Highly recommended.
