The 2016 Ambassador ‘Diplomat’ is a compelling blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon with the remainder equal parts Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Syrah. On the nose this has a wonderful herbal edge with dark fruits and a touch of chocolate. The mouthfeel here is really good as rich dark fruits greet you with a touch of mocha. Delightful now in its youth, this will evolve well over the next decade or more.
