The 2015 Aquilini Family Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent effort in this challenging vintage. Showing a ton of heat of the vintage, the wine comes off with intense dark fruit and Turkish coffee aromatics once in the glass. Dense and layered, with moderate tannins, the wine unveils layers of dark fruit flavors with sagebrush and mocha accents. Excellent now, yet should go on to cellar well over the next decade.
