The 2014 ‘La Contrada’ Red Wine shows rich aromas of sagebrush, black tea, anise and creme de cassis with hints of tar that fill the nose. The silky mouthfeel impresses here, as roasted figs collide with black fruits and licorice on the palate. This excellent wine will cellar well over the next decade.
