100% Mourvedre from the Weathereye Vineyard of Red Mountain, this wine sees 50% whole cluster and rests 18 months in neutral puncheons. If you love classic Mourvedre, you will love this wine - think of toasted ground peppercorn and a wet earth funk that pops from the glass. Black raspberry, wild huckleberry and black plum are present with the addition of dried poultry herbs. It’s medium bodied, medium tannin and is wonderfully balanced on the tongue. About 65 cases produced.
