The Hillfighter from Weathereye is the second label wine that will come in at a lower price point (TBD) and is a blend of 53% Tempranillo, 30% Syrah, and 17% Mourvedre and is mostly neutral French oak. Aromas of black plum, cracked black pepper, dusty country road, and dried rosemary jump from the glass. Balanced acidity, grippy tannins and yummy black fruit express themselves on the palate. 143 cases produced.
