100% Malbec from Red Mountain which is aged in 13% new French oak and 12% new American oak, the nose delivers baked black cherry, black currant jam, toasted anise, and freshly scraped vanilla bean seeds. Deep dark purple with a neon ruby rim, the wine is rich and decadent in every way. The palate is expansive with broad black fruit flavors along with hints of tobacco and nutmeg. Medium-plus acidity, chalky tannins, and a long finish complete the wine. Drink or hold for the next decade.
