A Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend from Red Mountain that consists of 43% Cabernet, 32% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Petit Verdot is aged for 22 months in 50% new oak barrels. The aromas are wonderfully suggestive, with aromas of black raspberry, red Bing cherry, dried thyme, and toasty cinnamon. The palate is black-fruit dominant at first, but then develops those lovely earthy and savory characteristics that I adore. Tannins are a touch aggressive right now so you need to be patient with this wine for a few years. Best from 2024-2029. Only 225 cases produced.
