Rich and spicy on the nose, this Grenache from Red Mountain in Washington presents notes of red and black cherry, toasted baking spice, mountain sage, black licorice, and some earthy aspects that are really interesting. It contains 6% Petit Verdot which adds some color and structure. The palate is very well balanced and has added flavors of boysenberry and hints of white pepper with some savory herbal notes on the mid-palate. Medium acidity and medium tannins complete the wine. Only 100 cases produced.
