The LTL Cabernet Sauvignon comprises a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot with fruit coming from the Upchurch estate vineyards on Red Mountain. Aged for 18 months in 50% new French oak barrels, and showing a medium-dark ruby with a garnet rim, it furnishes phenomenal notes of fresh boysenberry, Black Forest cake, new leather, tobacco leaf, and fresh cedary herbs. It’s jam-packed with juicy dark fruit, framed by elevated rounded tannins and a superb freshness, finishing long and spicy. Another incredible deal for a Red Mountain cab for only $32 that can age for 10-12 years. 970 cases were produced.
