A fun wine from Hedges winemaker Sarah Hedges Goedhart, this lovely Syrah from Red Mountain fruit is aged in 25% new French oak barrels and comes from an early pick and a late pick, that are fermented and aged separately but blended together before bottling. A lovely medium ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass with notes of blue plum, blueberry compote, black olive tapenade, milk chocolate, and smokey meats. Medium-high acid and medium tannins create an elegant and lean finish. Only 100 cases produced.
