Fruit that comes from the impeccable Weathereye Vineyard, the 2020 High Canyon Viognier displays a golden apple core with a honey rim in the glass. It’s aged for 9 months in neutral French oak barrels to allow the fruit to shine without any distractions. Rich and decadent on the nose, it gifts fetching aromas of grilled pineapple, honeysuckle flower, honey-coated Bartlett pear, and blanched almonds. Rich and oily on the palate with elevated levels of acidity and a firm full-body mouthfeel, it gives this wonderful mushroom and earthy quality on the front palate. Only 48 cases made.
