The Hillfighter wines are the second label for the Weathereye Estate wines. Boasting a glistening dark garnet core with a glowing purple rim, this red blend starts off with aromas of dark cherry pie filling, fresh boysenberry, cracked white peppercorn, roasted game, dried violet flowers, and scorched herbs. Acidity is in check, the chalky tannins are sweet and present, and it finishes with a lovely bitter herb aspect on the back palate.
