Another sensational showing in this vintage is the 'Right Bank' blend, which is composed of 50% Cabernet Franc, 24% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Petit Verdot. It starts off with stunning aromas of crème de cassis, dark currants, fresh violets, graphite, spices and earthy minerals that all come together and burst from the glass. This continues to impress with its fantastic full-bodied texture and beautifully structured frame, that is supported by well-polished tannins. Complex and layered, with a delicious ripe core that extends through the long finish. While this certainly displays plenty of upfront appeal, it also possesses all the characteristics to indicate a long graceful evolution ahead.
