The 2016 Ladera Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced exclusively from select vineyard blocks on Howell Mountain and in Calistoga. As this begins to unwind in the glass it releases aromas red currants and plums, which are accented by nuances of loam, spices, graphite and herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and nicely structured with a wonderful sense of refinement as it glides beautifully through the finish. While this is drinking excellent today, to should also continue to develop over the course of the next decade.
