The 2017 ‘Audere’ is a fantastic wine which is composed of a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 12% Petite Verdot, 1%Malbec and Cabernet Franc. It begins with inviting aromas of blackberries, black cherries and black raspberries which are joined by spices, melted licorice, wet gravel and earthy nuances all taking shape. On the palate this is full-bodied, seamless and layered with gorgeous dark fruits. It goes on to display wonderful overall balance and concentration all they way through the long, graceful finish. This is very approachable today, but there is no reason to wait to enjoy it, that said it also has the potential to age beautifully.
