The 2019 'Armaan' Cabernet Sauvignon is an immense, towering wine from PerUs. It immediately grabs your attention with incredibally seductive aromas of ripe dark currants and blueberries, which are joined by violets, mocha, exotic spices and hints of cast iron that all come together seamlessly in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and voluptuous, with big, polished tannins resulting in a wonderul plush, enveloping mouthfeel. This displays tremendous depth, with a dense core of ripe dark fruits, sweet spices and mocha nuances, which all cascade on to the long, opulent finish. This is approachable today, but also has the potential for a drinking window that spans two decades.
