The 2019 'Janeen' Cabernet Sauvignon is another fantastic wine from PerUs in this vintage. Sourced from the Sage Ridge Vineyard, this bursts open with profound aromas of ripe crème de cassis and blueberries woven together with exotic spices, mocha, violets, cigar box and a touch of savory nuances. On the palate this is full-bodied with nicely polished tannins and incredible depth. Plush, layered and remarkably concentrated, this goes on to impress as continues to delvier layers of ripe opluent fruit through the long supple finish, making it nearly impossible to resist. While this is simply delightful now, it should also go on to evolve beautifully for at least a decade.
