The 2010 Songbook is another marvelous wine from Cliff Lede in this vintage. It begins with seductive aromas of crème de cassis, dark plums, spring florals, sweet spices and a dusting of cocoa powder all emerging beautifully from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and voluptuous, displaying outstanding structure with plush velvety tannins wrapping the beautiful core of ripe dark fruits. It goes on to impress with its wonderful depth and concentration leading up to the enveloping finish. This is delicious now and has the potential to drink exceptionally well for years to come.
