A spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon from Revana that is a mélange of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot and is aged for 20 months in 60% new French oak. A deep ruby core with a neon purple rim shows what is to come. A heavenly nose of crushed boysenberry, black plum, blueberry compote, dark chocolate, scorched sage, caramelized orange peel, and purple violet shows the complexity of the wine. Lip-smacking acidity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, crunchy sweet tannins, and secondary notes of cedary herbs and black fruit preserve complete this well-balanced wine. Better in 2023 and then drink over the next 15 years.
