The 2019 Newton Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon begins to impress with its intense aromatics of ripe black berries and blackcurrants which come together with chocolate, violets, minerals and sweet baking spices that all accented by a wonderful sense of freshness. On the palate this is full-bodied and impeccably structured with beautifully round polished tannins and an absolutely gorgeous plush mouthfeel. This goes on to impress as it showcases a dense core of ripe dark fruits and exotic spices that are underlined by streaks of iron which resonate across the palate. It displays an incredible combination of depth and concentration along with a layered mouthful of delicious ripe dark fruits linger on the long opulent finish.
