Another fun red wine blend from winemaker Brianne Day - this time a mélange of 40% Cabernet Franc, 35% Malbec, and 25% Tannat. Stunning notes of blackberry jam, scorched sage, black cherry, fresh linen sheets, potpourri, and just a hint of green peppercorn make this old-world-styled wine complex as well as delicious. Balanced acidity and crunchy tannin form the core of the wine, ending with a white-pepper and brambly fruited finish that goes on for ages. Best in 2023 or age for another decade.
