Fermented partially whole cluster and aged for 17 months in 36% new French oak puncheons, this lovely Syrah screams The Rocks on the nose - think of complex aromas of charcuteries, blackberry, wild huckleberry, black olive tapenade, tar, pink grapefruit, and roasted black peppercorn. Racy acidity and rounded plush tannins dance on the palate along with flavors of blue plum and wet earth. You can drink this now, but I would wait for a few years to pop it open for the optimal experience. Only 336 cases produced.
