The 2019 Gravière is aged for 17 months in barrel on 33% new French oak and brings a lovely dark purple core with a watery rim in the glass. Boating notes of brambly fruit, blue plum, black cherry, green olive, burnt caramel, and charcuterie to the nose, while the palate delivers a more herbaceous and peppery note. Acidity checks in at the medium level while the tannins are rounded and starting to integrate nicely into the backbone of the wine. Just 150 cases made.
