I am blown away by the 2020 Pasxa Rockgarden Mourvedre, with scintillating aromas of boysenberry, ground black pepper, violet flower, roasted beef ribs, Asian spices, crushed Spanish olives, and a hint of game to top it all off. The palate brings additional notes of dried cedary herbs and iodine to the table. Unbelievably complex and decadently delicious, this could be my favorite Washington Mourvedre I’ve ever tasted. The phenomenal structure and balance come with no rough edges to speak of. High recommended.
