HYLAND ESTATES Pinot Noir, McMinnville ‘Pommard’ 2021

I absolutely love what Hyland Estates is doing with their single-clone Pinot Noirs - it really does showcase how each individual clone is different and unique in style and character. This Christmas-spiced wine is wonderful on the nose, with aromas of dark cherry, baking spice, grapefruit zest, and just a touch of meatiness that makes the wine super interesting. Plush and round on the palate, you are hit with flavors of black raspberry and dried thyme. Acidity is at a perfect level, alongside sweet tannins and a black fruit and spiced finish. Highly recommended.
