The 2015 'King Coal' Columbia Valley red wine is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and the remainder Syrah all sourced from the Northridge Vineyard. This sensational wine starts off with profound aromas of blackberry pie, crushed mint, black olive and black cherry cordial. The mouthfeel is decadent, with blackberry liquor, coffee grounds, sagebrush and black cherry preserves. Rich and voluptous this seductive red is drinking marvelously right now, but should also thrive in the cellar for a decade or maybe even longer.
