This 2016 'Milbrandt' Syrah instantly begins to impress as it opens with a bouquet of red and dark fruits on the nose. Fruit forward and showing a nice tension, the wine reveals delicious flavors of red currant jelly, cigar box and red cherry preserves. The freshness really drives this bright and lively wine. I expect this will have nice evolution ahead.
