A beautiful rendition of an Italian Barbara, without the typical Italian “funk.” The wine is very beautiful in the glass, showing a ruby cherry core. Dark raspberry and cinnamon cherry pie are the primary aromas with just a touch of nutmeg and baking spices peeking through. On the palate you are presented with ripe strawberry, red cherry, fennel and a hint of orange blossom while the medium tannins give it just enough structure to hold everything together. 342 cases made.
