Earthy tones and dark plum, blue raspberry and black currant surface from the glass of this exuberant Cabernet from Tranche Estate. It also forms a secondary characteristic on the nose of black licorice, aged leather and smokey sesame seeds. The black fruit on the palate is fantastic and shows perfect balance with glossy tannins and medium-high acidity. Save this for a 2023 opening and cellar for another decade or more.
