A gorgeous deep purple with a violet rim, this 100% Syrah from Tranche is a stunning wine beginning with a bouquet of savory blueberry pie, black licorice and ground fresh black pepper on the nose and moving to flavors of fresh blue plum, ash, blackberry cordial, crush toasted anise and Spanish green olives. Tannins are very present alongside the high acidity and luscious fruit. Enjoyable now with a 2-3 hour decant or wait a few years to enjoy.
