A blend of 91% Tempranillo and 9% Syrah that is aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels. It starts off a bit reductive on the nose, with additional aromas of black cherry, barbequed beef, iodine, leather, and some bitter herbs. It’s very animalistic in the glass. Flavors of blackberry pie, savory herbs, new leather, and cocoa nibs form the palate that ends with elevated levels of acidity, medium silky tannins, and a lengthy finish.
