This 100% Syrah that is foot-stomped and aged for 16 months in 30% new French oak barrels is phenomenal on the nose with aromas of black plum, black cherry, purple rose, roasted beef ribs, and black olive. The palate is all of that and more with red and black fruit hitting the front palate, and the meaty, savory components coating the back of the palate. Tannins are spot on - integrated seamlessly and perfectly balanced with the medium-high acidity. Only 500 cases produced.
