A lovely combination of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 11% Malbec, and 1% Cabernet Franc that is aged for 22 months in 57% new French oak barrels. Aromas of Christmas spiced black fruit jump from the glass along with notes of dried plum, graphite, cedar herbs, and toasted baking spice. Lovely acidity and perfectly integrated sweet tannin are a treat in the mouth. This has the stuff to age well for a decade or more, or drink it now with a 3-4 hour decant.
