100% Petit Verdot coming from the McLellan Vineyard that is aged in all neutral oak barrels, once filled, for 18 months. Revealing a deep dark purple core with a brickish rim and lovely notes of rich dark cherry preserves, cassis, ground sweet baking spice, a touch of menthol, and potpourri, the palate is all dark sour cherry with a hint of scorched sage. Medium-plus acidity and grippy tannins complete the wine. Only 65 cases made.
