Matt Reynvaan’s personal label, where he takes fruit from the same few rows from his vineyard, every single year. This stunning wine pops with complex aromas of brandied dark cherry, milk chocolate, hoisin sauce, scorched earth, bacon fat, and crunchy black peppercorn. The palate is just as interesting with flavors of sour dark cherry, black olive, fresh tar, toasted clove, wet autumn leaves, and ping grapefruit zest exploding on the palette. The finish is perfectly balanced between the acidity, texture, fruit, and earthy tones, and presents a wonderful dried herb note to the back palate. Another incredible wine from Reynvaan that should age well for 12 years or more. Highly recommended.
