The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Pepper Bridge checks in at 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 6% Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc and spends time in 55% new French oak barrels. A dark purple core with a ruby rim, it’s dark, rich, and powerful on the nose - think aromas of macerated blackberry, cassis, pencil shavings, wet crushed stone, and sweet toasty cinnamon stick. Sporting a full body, sweet rounded tannins, and perfect levels of acidity, this lovely effort will drink well over the next 10-15 years. 1682 cases produced.
