This 2019 Vottavo Cut Bank Estate is predominantly Sangiovese at 75%, with the rest being 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Syrah. It spends 22 months in 45% new French oak and 11 months in neutral puncheons and showcases a dark ruby and purple core with a silvery rim. Black cherry, dried strawberry, red rose, vanilla bean, and toasted dried coconut notes combine wonderfully in the glass. It finishes with a herbaceous and dried-red fruit component alongside rounded tannins and mouthwatering acidity. Just 217 cases made.
