A right-bank Bordeaux styled wine comprised of 46% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc, 17% Petit Verdot, and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, this one was aged for 30 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel. Like all of the Spring Valley 2019s, this one is still a baby with aggressive tannins that will need a few years to come together. It displays a gorgeous deep purple and ruby core with a blue and silver rim in the glass and pops with notes of red plum, black cherry compote, cedary herbs, vanilla bean, and potpourri. Better in 2024. 700 cases made.
