This refreshing Rose from Walla Walla Vintners was a beautiful light pink in color. Cool fermented in stainless steel for 25 days, this wine has a nose of apple, pear, and slight carnation. Made with 100% Sangiovese, you are greeted with an entry of sweetened grapefruit, lime curd and cantaloupe. Crisp, clean, and vibrant, with excellent acidity, the wine reveals apple and mango pit later in the game. This wine never lost its verve, even with time in the glass. One of the better Sangiovese Rose’s I’ve had; this wine should be enjoyed over the next five years.
