What a lovely bottle of wine from the team at Cayuse at a reasonable price point of $55. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Tempranillo that is aged for 21 months in neutral French oak barrels. Notes of crushed boysenberry, black cherry candy, smoked brisket, cracked peppercorn, and dried rose pop from the glass. Tannins are very well integrated into this savory and meaty effort.
