A blend of 53% Grenache, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Syrah that was aged for 21 months in neutral French oak reveals a glimmering medium ruby hue with a blueish rim. Aromas of charred meat and game pair perfectly with the flavors of crushed strawberries, black cherry, wet forest floor, purple potpourri, and tobacco leaf. With time, it becomes more and more interesting as it evolves on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, with rounded fine tannins, and a splendid finish, this will age well for the next 10 years or more. Only 166 cases were produced. Highly recommended.
