100% Syrah that is aged for 21 months in about 20% new French oak barrels, the 2020 Armada Syrah from Cayuse is a phenomenal wine that deserves your attention. Bigger and heavier than its siblings, it features aromas of bacon fat, ripe boysenberries, forest floor, and touches of smoked sea salt. Tannins are completely integrated, rounded, and sweet, while the acidity balanced the meaty components of the wine on the lengthy finish. 650 cases were made. Highly recommended.
