A yummy mélange of 40% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2020 Rubrum presents a blood-red core with a neon purple rim in the glass. A gorgeous nose of wild violets, boysenberry, dried mint, cedary herbs, and just a smidgeon of leather present themselves nicely. I love the balance of medium body, mouthwatering acidity, crunchy tannins, and the balanced fruit and spice-driven finish. Enjoy this one over the next 8-10 years.
